We spent some time in Mexico's Riviera Maya. The adults only resort we stayed in had a few weddings while we were there, so I wanted to share some with you this month! Pictured is an evening reception that I took on my phone (no editing or filters here!). All the guests had sparklers and were surrounding the bride and groom! It really was lovely. Not to mention the stunning white flowers adorning the "alter". If you are interested in hearing more, please feel free to reach out to me!

Our flight arrived early and we were at the resort well before check in. We did book a preferred suite and upon arrival, our luggage was tagged and taken and we were whisked off to the preferred check in area. Greeted with champagne the staff were on top of every detail. While we waited for our room we were taken to enjoy lunch at the preferred lounge with stunning views. We also had time to change into our bathing suits and enjoy some sun.

We made sure to soak in plenty of sunshine by both the beach and pool. Cabanas are available in addition to lounge chairs both on the beach and pool side. There are 2 pools - the main pool which had plenty of activities throughout the day and a second pool nearby that was more lowkey for those that wanted to relax. Our room was a swim out, so we also enjoyed walking straight our of the room into a semi private pool. The resort does have mats available for floating as well. The beach area where we stayed is beautiful powdery white sand. Be aware, not all resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya have nice beaches.....

In addition to activities by the pool, each evening there were different shows put on. One of my favorites was the Mexican themed night with a live Mariachi and traditional Mexican dancers.

As I mentioned above, we stayed in a suite. Each building had a concierge, which I will say ours was amazing! He truly had that special touch of knowing what we needed before we needed it. He arranged for a fresh pot of coffee to be delivered to our room each morning, arranging dinner reservations at the restaurants, managing our beach cabana arrangements etc. In addition, I will say I did not meet a single staff member that was anything less than pleasant and helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious. We had 1.5 bathrooms, although the full bath was quite large with jacuzzi tub, large walk in shower with 2 rainfall style shower heads in addition to a regular shower head. We had a spacious living area with both a dining space and living room. Our patio space was spacious as well with loungers for 2 and a table for 2 in addition to the walk out pool.
