We recently enjoyed a cruise to the Caribbean and the color of the water and sands still take my breath away. Every day you wake up with a view of vibrant blue sea. Since you're on ship, there's always a view and a great breeze! Each day is as busy or as laid back as you want it to be. Some days we packed full of activities on board or on land and other days we dedicated to lounging by the pool and using the Spa. Don't fret if you have a loved one that isn't as excited about the sun or sand - there is plenty to do on board and on shore!

Another great reason to cruise - Most cities are a single flight away from a major cruise port. So you get the ability to unpack once and visit multiple islands. Getting to these islands can consume a significant amount of travel time (especially if you're like us and the closest airport isn't a major hub). Who wants to burn vacation time sitting in airports? So if you haven't been to these islands, take a cruise first and see which ones pique your interest and earn a spot on your "I want to go back list".
